Kratu, a happy-go-lucky dog, is famous for being so adorable in completing an agility course. Every year, he would compete in the Crufts dog show in England. But instead of winning ribbons and awards, he would always win the hearts of the audience.
When you hear the words “agility course,” you would imagine obstacles and hurdles where dogs follow the directions given to them to complete the race in a limited time.
But Kratu, being a Carpathian-Mioritic mix, certainly has a mind of his own. He enjoys the agility course but has a funny way of not always following his handler’s directions.
This year was not different compared to the past years. When his owner announced that Kratu was about to retire, the dog star ran his course again filled with errors.
The carefree dog was at the center stage, very excited to show off his skills for the very last time.
Kratu made it an entertaining show by running around the course through his terms. He runs around freely and goes through the tunnels in both directions. Instead of running out of the tunnels as fast as he can, he was happier to spend time hiding in it.
But what definitely made him steal the show is when he grabs the pole with his mouth from one of the hurdles instead of jumping over it. He runs freely with the pole in his mouth while the crowd watches in laughter.
Kratu may not be focused. He may not even know what he needs to do next. But he definitely looks like he is having a good time.
Kratu may not have followed the set pattern in a dog agility course, but that’s alright with us. That may be because Kratu, just like us humans, is trying to enjoy and live his best life.
Here’s the video of how Kratu gained internet fame with his unique performance.
